Signature Truck Center is a used commercial truck dealership in Crystal Lake, IL. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on detail lead to run our reconditioning process and keep trucks moving from intake to sale-ready. This is a working role — you'll detail alongside the team and lead the department at the same time.
What you'll do:
- Work with our detailers to recondition used commercial trucks
- Help manage and coordinate which trucks get done next based on priority
- Perform quality control checks to make sure every truck is sale-ready
- Communicate clearly with the front office on truck status and timelines
- Create efficiency — keep the process organized and trucks turning quickly
What we're looking for:
- Prior detailing or reconditioning experience (commercial/heavy-duty a plus)
- Someone reliable who can lead a small team and set the pace
- Strong communication and organization
- A quality-first mindset — you take pride in how a truck looks when it leaves
- Valid driver's license
Pay & schedule:
- $20+/hour, based on experience
- Full-time
