- Preferred: Pediatric experience preferred but not required, willing to obtain state licensure
- Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Be willing to obtain state licensure. 2 years as an RN with pediatric experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to students within the school setting in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Administer medications, tube feedings, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support the student’s educational participation and inclusion.
- Monitor student health needs and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with educators and families.
