Installation Technicians assume a role in the seamless, efficient, and on-time installation of equipment. They will collaborate within a team, and contribute to exceptional work quality, budgetary constraints and timely project completion by meeting both client and organizational goals.

- Installation of operating room lights, equipment booms, video monitors, cabinetry, and related structures
- Cable installation (CAT 5/6), medical gas lines, and other cabling
- Comprehensive client reporting, validating test outcomes and work completed
- Ability to learn client-specific systems, facilitating integrated growth
- Proficiency in cable management
- Basic general contracting skills
- Willingness to travel extensively, often exceeding 80% of working time with the flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend shifts
- Knowledge of electrical and low voltage systems
- Proficiency in reading plans and adherence to scope-of-work specifications
- Ability to assess scope changes and initiate change order requests
- Confidence using tools such as levels, wrenches, reciprocating saws, portable hand saws, and hammer drills
- Ability to actively listen and adhere to project management directives, transitioning well between tasks, while sustaining focus and productivity with minimal to no direct supervision
- Ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, generate solutions, and make informed recommendations while resolving challenges
- Professional verbal and written communication skills and demeanor when interacting with leadership, clients, facility staff, and patients
- Physical dexterity to work in confined spaces, kneeling, and lifting objects exceeding 70 pounds
- Professional and punctual work habits to ensure on-time performance and minimal unproductive work time
- Management of personal matters to avoid interference during working hours
- Efficiency in executing jobs in optimal sequence
- Unwavering adherence to OSHA and organizational standards in collaboration with the entire KHI Medical team
- Proactively takes measures to prevent unsafe conditions, preempting unnecessary safety issues
