Job Summary
As a Part-Time Food Truck Team Member, you’ll help create an amazing customer experience while assisting with food preparation, order taking, cash handling, and keeping the truck clean and organized. Every day is different, with opportunities to work festivals, corporate events, breweries, wineries, schools, and community events.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a positive attitude
- Take food orders accurately using our POS system
- Prepare and package customer orders
- Maintain food quality and presentation
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Restock food and supplies throughout the shift
- Keep the food truck clean and sanitary
- Assist with setup and breakdown before and after events
- Work as a team to provide fast, friendly service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Food service experience is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.
- Ability to work in hot and fast-paced environments
Schedule
Hours vary based on event schedule and may include:
- Weekday lunch events
- Afternoon food truck stops
- Evening events
- Weekends
- Holidays and festivals
Most shifts range from 4–8 hours.
