Duties
- Lead and manage the entire food service operation, including kitchen, catering, and restaurant services
- Supervise culinary staff, ensure optimal performance
- Food preparation, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and innovation
- Manage inventory control, food safety compliance, and cost-effective food management practices
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor daily operations, and troubleshoot any issues promptly
- Ensure adherence to dietary requirements and accommodate special dietary needs with precision
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
- Solid dietary department experience with knowledge of food allergies and special diets
- Demonstrated expertise in food production, and culinary techniques
- Strong background in food service management including inventory management and control
- Experience in fine dining environments with an emphasis on presentation and quality standards
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts and departments
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry
- Food handling procedures, and catering logistics
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure exceptional guest service
