Full Job Description
Cathedral City roofing contractor in business for 40+ years seeking a qualified and dedicated Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk will work under the Controller and be responsible forbasic bookkeeping and accounting duties.
Responsibilities
· Review and record vendor bills, manage vendor portals, and review monthly statements.
· Pay bills weekly.
· Invoice customers weekly.
· Record payments and provide receipts or releases as needed.
· Answer phones as backup to Receptionist.
· Miscellaneous other administrative tasks assigned on an as needed basis.
Requirements
· Associates Degree equivalent or higher (Preferred)
· Minimum of 2-3 years of related accounting experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other daily accounting tasks
· Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
· Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
· Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
· Detail-oriented
· Ability to multi-task and handle high volume of paperwork
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
Education and Experience
· Associates Degree equivalent or higher (Preferred)
· Minimum of 2-3 years of related accounting experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other daily accounting tasks.
Preferred
· Bilingual in English and Spanish desired
Work Environment
This job operates in-person in an office at a single location.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm.
Travel/Remote Work
No travel is expected for this position. Work is not remote and is in one office location.
