Field / Yard Helper Job Description
The Field / Yard Helper is responsible for supporting field operations and maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient yard environment. This position requires flexibility to assist with field assignments, NDT inspection support, and general yard duties as needed throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field work and provide operational support during all scheduled working hours.
- Assist NDT technicians with field inspections and related activities.
- Support the inspection and handling of casing in the yard.
- Load, unload, organize, and stage materials and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, workstations, and inspection stations.
- Perform routine yard maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist with equipment setup, preparation, and cleanup before and after inspections.
- Operate tools and equipment safely while following company policies and safety procedures.
- Provide additional labor and support for field crews and yard operations as needed.
- Complete other duties assigned by supervisors to support daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to perform a variety of field and yard tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
