JOB Alabama State University, Division of Student Affairs, invites applications to fill the position of Coordinator of International Affairs. Reporting to the Director of Academic Labs, First Year and Second Year Experience, and International Affairs, the Coordinator will support international student recruitment, enrollment, retention, immigration compliance, orientation, and cultural programming while promoting global engagement and student success. The Coordinator will collaborate with campus stakeholders to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for international students and scholars.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate international student support services and initiatives, including onboarding, transition, cultural adjustment, orientation, an d student integration

Assist with immigration related processes and SEVIS compliance while maintaining accurate student records and reports.

Coordinate educational, cultural adjustment, and global engagement programs, including International Education Week and intercultural activities

Collaborate with Admissions and Recruitment regarding international student communication, admissions, and enrollment support

Provide guidance related to campus resources, housing, employment eligibility, and student engagement

Monitor enrollment and retention data, support international partnerships and study abroad awareness efforts assist with marketing and outreach initiatives, serve as advisor to the International Student Association
