Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each piece of clothing meets our high standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform alterations on garments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, and adjusting fit according to client specifications.
- Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to ensure high-quality finishes on all garments.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
Experience
- Proven experience in tailoring or garment construction is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines and understanding various fabric types.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments.
- Experience in fashion retail is a plus but not required.
