We are currently seeking to fill an Engineering Department Administrative Assistant role. The primary duty and responsibility of the Engineering Department Administrative Assistant is to assist the engineering department in the carrying out of various administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete street opening permits/forms for various municipalities for construction related activities.
- Be able to perform general office duties (i.e. operate copy, fax and scanning devices)
- Be able to assist the engineering staff in the field when needed (i.e. assist with Dig Safe pre-marks and/or conducting field work)
- Demonstrate ethical, professional conduct at all times and comply with the company’s code of ethics.
- Demonstrate a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma at a minimum
- College or professional program of 3 years or less preferred.
- 1-2 years of office administration experience.
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint) Products and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and motivational skills with a flexible, enthusiastic and committed attitude to work.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk or sit for lengthy period and reach with hands, arms and stoop. Employee may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts, supplies and materials on occasion.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00/8:00 am to 2:30/3:30 pm

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
