The Role:
Eybna is seeking a results-driven US Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Van Nuys facility. Reporting to the VP of Global Operations, you will take full ownership of production, purchasing, inventory, and quality functions, and lead the cross-functional team that delivers them. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for an experienced operator who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, brings structure and accountability to complex operations, and is equally comfortable on the production floor and in the numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all operational functions at the Van Nuys facility, including production, purchasing, inventory managment and logistics , ensuring consistent, on-time order fulfillment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across a diverse, international workforce.
- Own production planning and scheduling, aligning capacity, inventory, and staffing with customer commitments and business priorities.
- Manage end-to-end inventory and supply chain operations, including raw materials, bulk product, and finished goods, and cultivate strong vendor and supplier relationships.
- Develop and manage the operations budget, proactively identifying and executing cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives.
- Champion the adoption of AI-driven tools and automation to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee import/export logistics and ensure full regulatory compliance in the handling, storage, and transport of goods, including dangerous and hazardous materials.
- Uphold rigorous quality, safety, and compliance standards across production and laboratory operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between sales, production, and executive leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and performance.
- Establish and continuously refine SOPs, driving operational excellence and scalability across the organization.
- Provide leadership with regular reporting on operational performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with a strong background in manufacturing and logistics.
- Demonstrated experience in import/export operations and the handling of dangerous goods/hazardous materials.
- Proven track record leading and developing teams within a diverse, international environment.
- Solid experience in budget management, with a demonstrated ability to identify and deliver cost-reduction opportunities.
- Working knowledge of AI-driven tools and automation, with the ability to apply them to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leadership style, comfortable moving between strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholders.
- Proficiency with ERP, inventory management, and project management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
