Duties
- Assist customers and technicions in selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories by leveraging your extensive product knowledge and mechanical troubleshooting skill
- Manage inventory levels accurately using inventory control systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and POS (Point of Sale) terminals
- Process sales transactions efficiently through cashiering and POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math application
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, phone etiquette, and personalized service to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment, stock stocking, and timely delivery of parts to meet customer expectations
- Maintain organized shelving, stock levels, and inventory records while adhering to safety standards and organizational protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in parts sales in a dealership environments with a focus on automotive parts or accessories
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, and repair processes
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual abilities are a plus) to connect with diverse customers
- Familiarity with inventory management tools such as CMMS or Microsoft Excel for tracking stock levels and order processing
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and transaction totals
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, maintenance practices, and parts management strategies
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills to upsell products and resolve client concerns effectively
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain a clean work environment
