We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to foster a motivated and efficient team
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training & development programs to enhance team skills
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and administrative duties related to store operations
- Monitor store budget adherence, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations for profitability analysis
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer engagement
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and retail math
- Experience in employee recruitment, interviewing, training & development, scheduling & shift management
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and stock control methods
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette proficiency and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays as needed; assistant manager experience is advantageous

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
