Responsibilities
Safely load raw materials, run production cycles, and unload finished parts on CNC mills and lathes according to established parameters.
Assist senior machinists with or perform basic machine setups, including changing out production fixtures and tooling under direct supervision.
Measure and inspect finished components using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure complete accuracy against blueprint specifications.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery and keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Monitor machine performance closely and immediately report malfunctions or out-of-tolerance parts to senior staff.
