We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Customer Service Representative to support order processing and customer communication in a fast‑paced horticultural environment. You’ll work in the PICAS ERP system, coordinate with internal teams, and assist brokers, growers, and retailers with order updates and issue resolution.
Enter and manage customer orders in PICAS ERP
Communicate with brokers, growers, and internal departments
Process high‑volume orders, revisions, cancellations, and add‑ons
Provide plant readiness updates (color, height, root development)
Handle claims, credits, substitutions, and arrival‑quality issues
Maintain accurate customer profiles and distribute availability lists
1–2 years customer service experience
Strong computer skills, including Excel proficiency
Excellent phone and email communication
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work with frequent interruptions
Professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Horticulture experience a plus, not required
Prolonged sitting/standing
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Occasional bending, kneeling, and walking on uneven terrain
Work in office setting with occasional greenhouse exposur
Qualifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One to two years job experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Must be able to read and interpret documents such as quotes, invoices, packing lists, customer orders. The employee must have the ability to write simple instructions, and to communicate and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, employees, customers, and the public. Mathematical Skills: Critical thinking and problem solving.
