Required qualifications: Nurse Manager Ambulatory Surgery
- The Nurse Manager will facilitate and coordinate the care, scheduling, staffing assignments and delegation of responsibilities on the unit to ensure an efficient and patient safe environment. The role will facilitate the development of leadership and preceptor staff and to be responsibility of clinical standards and procedures for safe patient care on a daily basis, collaborating closely with the Executive Director Administrator. May utilize charge personnel in clinical areas as is deemed necessary.
Qualifications: Nurse Manager Operating Room
- Three to five years of progressively more responsible experience in a supervisory capacity with demonstrated leadership ability within an operating room setting. Experience in an ambulatory surgery center environment preferred. Excellent decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to supervise others. Ability to perform effectively in a variety of stressful situations in the OR/peri-operative setting. Demonstrates basic competencies related to the Center’s policies and procedures. Demonstrates understanding of a Quality Improvement process.
* National Certification in area of practice preferred.
* N.Y.S. Nursing License, Current N.Y.S. Registration, BLS, ACLS
Pay: Up to $145,000.00 per year
