Job Summary
We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician / Porter to help maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and readiness of our apartment community. Responsibilities include preparing vacant apartments for new residents, maintaining community grounds and common areas, assisting with basic maintenance tasks, performing trash removal, and supporting the maintenance team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in readiness, including cleaning, trash removal, and light repairs
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, amenities, and common areas
- Perform daily property walks and address curb appeal concerns
- Assist with painting, pressure washing, and basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Remove debris, litter, and bulk trash from the community
- Clean breezeways, stairwells, laundry rooms, clubhouses, and other common areas
- Assist with apartment inspections and make-ready punch lists
- Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and property damage promptly
- Support maintenance staff with work orders and resident requests when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, make-ready, or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of apartment make-ready processes, cleaning procedures, and property upkeep
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, hand tools, and power equipment
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance preferred
- Ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call as scheduled

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., push/pull equipment, and move supplies as needed
- Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and inclement weather
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning, trash removal, and apartment preparation tasks
- Ability to safely use ladders, cleaning chemicals, and maintenance equipment as required
Pay: $17.50 per hour
