Duties
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and appointment management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic.
- Manage medical records with precision, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards are upheld at all times.
- Coordinate billing, coding, and fiscal management tasks to support practice financial health, including budgeting and revenue cycle management.
- Supervise front-office staff and clinical support personnel, providing leadership in office management, human resources functions, and staff training.
- Handle medical administrative support tasks such as insurance verification, managed care coordination, and utilization management.
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist with medical office management duties like supply inventory control, facility maintenance coordination, and vendor relations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office administration or healthcare management within clinics or hospitals.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or similar platforms like Epic or eClinicalWorks.
- Supervising experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Skills in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle oversight.
- Background in nursing or acute care experience adds valuable insight into clinical workflows.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
