Title: Technical Support - In Vivo
Pay rate: $24/hour pay rate

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory activities including but not limited to reagent preparation, laboratory maintenance I monitoringe and routine testing of client samples. Specific primary areas of testing responslbility include
- Immunoassay methods o ELISA o IFA
- Hemagglutination
Assist In the receipt of samples to be tested
Prepare data forms for routine serology testing, Record assay parameters as required by protocol.
Ensure proper sample dilution is performed.
Operate and maintain pipettes.
May assist in the preparation of departmental media and diluents: including knowledge of proper labeling technique and storage conditions.
Assist in ensuring adequate supply of materials required for assays.
Ensure raw data records are accurate, complete, and in appropriate orderr and meet protocot specifications and/or GMP requirements.
Assist in interaction with project managers and technical staff In planning and conduct of serology assays,
- May support core IVB activities such as clinical observations, animal husbandy Share responsibility for general housekeeping and maintaining appropriate inventory levels of departmental supplies.
Responsible for proficiency in all departmental SOPs with general knowledge of the lab/production processes.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree (AA. IAS.) or equivalent in Biological Sciences or related discipline.
Experlence: One to two years related technical experience In a laboratory environment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory
substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure: None
Other: Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong organizational and prioritization skills required, Attention to detail and accuracy a must. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Able to communicate effectively in a small group or one on one setting
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to move about inside the laboratory, communicate and operate a computer. Must frequently be able to remain in a stationary position while performing laboratory tasks and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Frequently and accurately operate laboratory pipettes.
Regularly observes» inspects, and interprets laboratory experiments, requiring close vision and the ability to adjust focus and detect and differentiate colors.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. White performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves* protective clothing and eye protection.
Work Environment:
- Generat laboratory working conditions.
- Regularly wears protective clothing (cap, gloves, scrubs, lab coatF safety glasses).
- Works with biological samples with risk of exposure to, zoonotic disease» and biohazards.
- The employee may work with sharp objects (i.e. needles, glass pipettes, pipet tips).
- The noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate depending upon the task being performed.
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
