Sisu Healthcare Solutions is a privately held infusion therapy company that is dedicated to providing excellent clinical service to our patients, physicians and managed care customers. We provide comprehensive infusion therapy services that include the provision of nutritional, antibiotics, and specialty drugs administered intravenously, including all medically appropriate and necessary supplies. We provide these services and products to patients in the home setting or in our outpatient ambulatory infusion suites.
Our clinical team of nurses and pharmacists work closely with physicians to develop a plan of care based upon the patient’s therapy. Our specially trained nurses assess the patient, administer the medication, and teach patients and caregivers how to infuse in the home environment, when needed. From pharmacokinetic monitoring to reviewing medication profiles, our pharmacists are working closely with patients as well as their physician. Infusion therapy has proven to be a cost-effective alternative to hospitalization or hospital-based outpatient care.
Job Description
- Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our Ambulatory Infusion Suite.
- Initiates, develops and implements nursing plan of treatments.
- Assesses patient needs and physical status at each visit through health data systems and patient review. Re-evaluates patient needs through physical reassessment, response to therapy, and supplemental physician orders.
- Provides effective and safe teaching for patient and family to achieve independence with prescribed therapy and care needs through active participation per plan of treatment goals.
- Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
- Communicates with Sisu’s Clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families/caregivers to facilitate continuity of care. Prepares clinical documentation in real-time during visits and submits to the nursing department to comply with established timelines.
- Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries with patient instructions and thoroughly reports patient care needs, progress and goals when transferring care.
- Demonstrates compliance with agency operations, Sisu Healthcare Solutions policies and procedures, professional standards, local, state, federal regulations/guidelines, and accreditation standards.
- Maximizes work efficiency using computers and other automation technologies to validate plan of treatment orders, visit records and follows assigned visit schedule
- Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary Sisu Healthcare Solutions information including adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Actively participates in facility process for Performance Improvement Program and assists Supervisor or Nurse Manager with chart audit functions as applicable.
In this role, you will work a full-time weekly schedule concentrating on administering infusions in our Ambulatory Infusion Suite and patients in Phoenix, AZ and surrounding areas which may require travel of a 1-hour radius outside the normal territory (travel time is paid and mileage program). Participate in the on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
***Please Note: This position will initially function in a hybrid capacity, supporting both field nursing operations and the Ambulatory Infusion Suite (AIS) until patient census and AIS volumes increase.***
Training will take place at our pharmacy in Tempe, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current unrestricted license in state of Arizona
- Minimum two-year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus
- Have and maintain current CPR certification
- Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
- Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.
- Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs
Education
RN Diploma, B.S. degree in nursing

Expected hours: 40 per week, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
