Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Bartender to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar/restaurant environment, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the General Manager in daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the bar business, with a focus on food safety and hospitality.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to enhance their performance and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Maintain inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Implement food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and optimize product placement for maximum profitability.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on promotional activities and merchandising strategies.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant management/bartending role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members alike.
- Experience in bartending, nightclub operations, or catering can be advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
