American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist (Angiographer) with at least 1 year of vascular or interventional experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Provo, UT.

Interventional Radiology unit at an acute care facility in Provo, UT
-
Procedures include stroke intervention, embolization, biopsy, and complex IR procedures
-
4x10-hour day shifts per week; days may vary
-
On-call required, including weekends (on-call only)

Epic EMR used for charting

Minimum 1 year of vascular or interventional radiology experience required
-
ARRT(R)(RT) with angiography experience, ARRT(VI), or vascular/interventional radiography certification required

Active Utah State Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable

BLS (AHA) certification required; must not expire prior to start

ACLS or PALS certification preferred

High school diploma or GED required

A personal radiation monitoring dosimeter badge is required; candidates are encouraged to bring an existing badge from a prior employer or assignment

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Must be able to lift and transfer patients, push/pull gurneys and portable equipment, and stand for extended periods

Must be able to navigate busy, equipment-filled rooms and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity

Serve as circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech per Angio lab policies and Scope of Practice guidelines

Responsibilities include post-procedure tasks such as applying closure devices, suturing the sheath in place, or removing the sheath and applying pressure to achieve hemostasis

Develop and maintain knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, including indications, applications, and deployment techniques

Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff at an Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
