Description:
The Youth Minister supports the Diocese of Phoenix in its mission in service of the Body of Christ. This position works under the direct supervision of the Pastor. The Coordinator of Youth Ministry coordinates the youth ministry programs for grades sixth through twelve. The coordinator will serve as a strong example to teens and the parish community and must be someone who understands the dynamics of evangelization, conversion, and discipleship. This position develops communication with and mutual support from families of youth and partners with other communities, Parish and Diocesan youth organizations.
Requirements:
- Practicing Catholic in good standing who supports and lives the teachings of the Church.

Experience in parish/diocesan youth ministry or Catholic school campus ministry.

A degree in theology, religious education, catechetics, or a related field is preferred.

Bilingual: English, Spanish is a plus.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for ministry activities.
