Position Overview
We are seeking skilled carpenters to join our growing team. This role involves working on a wide range of commercial construction projects, performing tasks that require precision, craftsmanship, and problem-solving ability. We’re looking for a true “jack-of-all-trades”—someone who can adapt to different tasks, bring versatility to the jobsite, and take pride in delivering quality results across multiple aspects of construction.
Responsibilities
· Perform rough and finish carpentry work for commercial projects and/or residential projects
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
· Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal studs, and other building materials
· Operate a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively
· Take on a variety of tasks with flexibility and initiative
· Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and crew members to ensure timely project completion
· Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and industry standards
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a carpenter in commercial construction
· Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
· Ability to read and interpret construction documents
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
· Must have a reliable vehicle, preferably a truck
· Flexibility to work either 4 x 10-hour shifts or 5 x 8-hour shifts depending on project needs
· Occasional travel may be required depending on project location
· Must be able to pass a background check
· OSHA training or safety certifications a plus
Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive pay: $30 – $40/hour depending on experience and skill level
