We’re seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin Kitchen at Disney Springs to help keep our facility and equipment running smoothly. If you have hands-on experience with building maintenance, repairs, or equipment troubleshooting, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, and mechanical issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment and facility systems
- Repair fixtures, doors, lighting, and other minor building components
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff
- Ability to change HVAC filters and clean coils.
- Ability to read and use standard and metric tape measures to provide accuracy on measurements.
- General knowledge on reading volt meters both AC & DC or with hand and power tools. (Drills, Impacts, Circular saw, Grinder).
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of maintenance, mechanical, or facility experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and with a team
- Flexibility to work occasional overnight shift
- Be able to reach above and below shoulders, bend, stoop, squat, and twist repetitively throughout the shift.
- Be able to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be subject to heat and cold throughout the shift.
- Be subject to uncomfortable or distracting noise levels.
- Be able to work with chemicals in cleaners and sanitizers to maintain a healthy workspace.
- Be able to work around flashing lights.
- Be exposed to brightly lit and dimly lit areas throughout the shift.
- Be able to maneuver over uneven floor surfaces including transitioning from tile to carpet.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
