Essential Functions and Tasks
- Surveillance of the overall operation by watching and monitoring multiple cameras at once.
- Surveillance of employee and patron conduct on all card table games.
- Surveillance of the Cage room including the actions and conduct of the Cage Cashiers
- Surveillance of the third-party banking corporation’s employee actions and conduct card table games.
- Surveillance of all chip carts.17.50
- Surveillance and monitoring of the Marketing, Promotional and Comp programs.
- Detects and Investigates cheating, theft, embezzlement, and other illegal activities in the casino, count rooms, cabinets, cashiers cage, vault, and other areas,
- Records and saves recording of suspicious and unusual activity.
- Prepares written reports of investigation findings.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a similar setting
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Kern County Card Room Work Permit
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Ability to work in a small area with the same people for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to perform tasks with high efficiency and accuracy
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time (approximately 8 hours)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Work Schedule/Hours:
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
