We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Direct Professional to provide exceptional personal care and support to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare teams
- Support medication administration and help maintain accurate care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote health and well-being
- Engage residents through social activities, companionship, and emotional support to foster a positive environment
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry
- Follow safety protocols during patient transfers or heavy lifting tasks, ensuring resident safety at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), and hospice or palliative care practices
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are advantageous
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment like Hoyer lifts
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and family members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents’ quality of life

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
