Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages, providing recommendations when needed
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold food safety standards throughout all stages of service
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the hospitality or food industry is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations
- Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Experience with cash handling procedures is beneficial
