The checkout is where every customer's visit comes together, and we're looking for someone who enjoys making those interactions friendly, efficient, and welcoming.
This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with shifts typically running between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
We're a busy retail team based in Charlotte and are looking to add a Cashier to the team on a full-time basis. This is an entry-level opportunity, so if you're looking to build experience in retail and customer service, you'll receive all the training you need to get started.
What you'll be doing
Every day is a little different, but you'll regularly be:
- Greeting customers and providing a friendly welcome at the checkout
- Processing cash, card, and contactless payments accurately
- Answering general customer questions and helping with purchases
- Keeping the checkout area clean, organised, and ready for the next customer
- Restocking confectionery, drinks, and other front-of-store products
- Assisting with returns and exchanges in line with store procedures
- Working with colleagues to keep queues moving during busier periods
- Helping create a positive shopping experience from start to finish
