Join our high-energy team at ISI Elite Training: Garden City as a Sales Leader / Front Desk Associate, where you’ll be the first point of contact for members and prospects—and a key driver of membership growth. This role blends front desk operations with proactive sales, community engagement, and relationship building.
You’ll play a critical role in guiding potential members from their first interaction to becoming committed members, while delivering an exceptional in-studio experience. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Membership Growth
- Guide prospective members from initial inquiry (phone, walk-in, or event) through their first workout and ultimately to membership conversion
- Present ISI Elite Training as a premium health and wellness solution tailored to individual goals
- Assist in achieving and exceeding monthly sales quotas alongside the Facility Manager
- Confidently recommend and upsell memberships, retail products, and add-on services
Front Desk & Customer Experience
- Serve as the welcoming face of ISI, greeting members and guests with energy and professionalism
- Manage phone, text, and email inquiries with excellent communication and follow-up
- Ensure a seamless check-in and onboarding experience for all members and first-time visitors
- Handle membership questions, concerns, and account updates, escalating when needed
Operations & Studio Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and motivating studio environment
- Support retail sales transactions and POS operations, including accurate cash handling
- Assist with inventory, merchandising, and restocking of retail products
- Participate in monthly deep cleans and staff meetings
Community Engagement & Events
- Represent ISI Elite Training at local pop-up events (minimum 1 per month)
- Actively engage with the community to generate leads and build brand awareness
- Foster relationships that drive referrals and long-term member retention
Team Collaboration & Training
- Complete all required virtual training within one week of access
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to create a positive, goal-driven culture
- Support team initiatives and help maintain accountability to studio performance goals
Schedule & Expectations
- Minimum 10–12 hours per week
- Availability to work at least 2 weekend days per month
- Attendance at monthly staff meeting and deep clean
- Flexibility to support studio needs and events
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred (fitness industry a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
- Confidence in sales conversations, lead conversion, and upselling
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience with POS systems and basic administrative tasks is beneficial
- Bilingual skills are a plus

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
