Melt Restaurant, located in the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, has an immediate full time opening for an experienced Assistant Events Coordinator/Restaurant Manager.

Successful candidates will meet the following:
- Two years of experience as a manager in a fine dining setting.
- Ability to work any shift including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring a high-quality dining experience.
- Manage front-of-house staff, providing leadership and training.
- Foster excellent communication with guests and staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dining area.
- Assist with booking and overseeing private events.
- Assist head event coordinator with emails, voicemails, meetings, and office work.
- Maintain contact with interested potential clients.
- Guide guests in menu and bar selections.
- Guide team and providing support throughout duration of active events.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong attention to detail and organization.
- Must have strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs occasionally.
- Experience working in Toast POS System and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of wine & wine service.
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
