We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and compassionate Childcare Center Director to lead daily operations, ensure compliance with Texas childcare licensing standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and have proven experience in early childhood development in a daycare Center.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring full compliance with (HHS) regulations and licensing requirements.
- Must have a directors license to apply for this position.
- Manage and supervise all staff, including teachers, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate enrollment, attendance, health, and staff records as required by licensing standards.
- Implement center policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
Staff Management & Development:
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance.
- Foster a positive team culture emphasizing professionalism, respect, and accountability.
- Conduct regular team meetings and professional development sessions.
Curriculum & Child Development Oversight:
- Ensure age-appropriate curriculum and activities align with early childhood education standards.
- Support teachers in implementing educational and developmental programs.
Financial & Business Management:
- Manage budgets and tuition
- Assist with marketing, community outreach, and enrollment growth.
- Monitor and report financial performance and enrollment quota to ownership.
Parent & Community Relations:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding children’s progress, events, and center updates.
- Address parent concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Texas Director license as defined by HHS Licensing Minimum Standards.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a childcare Center director role.( Required)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of Texas childcare licensing rules and operational compliance.
- Must have experience with Texas Rising Star (TRS) - Preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
