Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. The Construction Manager for Gate Operator Installation oversees all field construction activities related to automated gate systems, including slide, swing, vertical‑lift, barrier arm, and specialty operators. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with UL 325, ASTM F2200, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
The manager coordinates & supervise crews, while maintaining rigorous documentation, quality control, and site safety.
Duties
- Develop and manage project schedules, manpower plans, and installation workflows
- Coordinate site readiness: concrete pads, conduit pathways, power availability, trenching, and structural mounting requirements
- Review construction drawings, gate fabrication plans, operator specifications, and access‑control schematics

- Access control integration (keypads, card readers, intercoms, cloud controllers)
- Safety system installation (photo eyes, edges, loops, entrapment protection)
- Conduit installation, trenching, wiring, and terminations
- Ensure all work meets UL 325 and ASTM F2200 safety and entrapment standards
- Resolve field issues related to geometry, power, communication, or operator configuration
- Ensure compliance with all construction regulations and safety protocols while maintaining rigorous quality control standards
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in gate operators, access control, low‑voltage, electrical, or construction management
- Strong understanding of UL 325, ASTM F2200, and automated gate safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals
- Proficiency with 120V AC, 12/24V DC, relays, transformers, and low‑voltage troubleshooting
- Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and multi‑phase construction projects
- Strong documentation discipline (photos, notes, redlines, commissioning reports)
- Valid Class E driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
