As a Sushi Chef de Partie, you will play a central role in the preparation and execution of high-quality sushi dishes, contributing to the diversity and excellence of our menu. KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes in accordance with established recipes.

Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Maintain a clean and organized sushi station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Assist in inventory management, ordering, and maintaining quality control of sushi ingredients.

Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, contributing to the development of a cohesive culinary team.

Actively participate in menu development, bringing forward ideas for continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury establishment.

Strong understanding of various sushi techniques and Japanese cuisine.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality culinary standards.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES

Ability to grasp, lift, move, or push goods on cart/truck weighing up to 100 pounds.

Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

Remain in stationary position for 8 or more hours throughout work shift

Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
