Job Summary of the Occupational Therapist (OTR):
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients, focusing on improving their physical and mental well-being through occupational therapy interventions.
Occupational Therapist (OTR) Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities to enhance patients' functional abilities
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports
Occupational Therapist Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in areas such as critical care, acute care, inpatient, outpatient, geriatrics, clinic settings, and medical imaging
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to work effectively with speech therapists and other healthcare professionals
