As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact during the overnight shift, handling guest inquiries, managing front desk operations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Duties
- Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information and directing calls efficiently
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, reservations, and billing to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including financial summaries, incident logs, and guest requests for the upcoming day staff
- Monitor security cameras and conduct property inspections to maintain safety and security standards throughout the hotel or resort
- Respond swiftly to guest inquiries or issues via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent customer service and hospitality management skills
- Support front desk operations by handling reservations, cancellations, and special requests with a friendly, bilingual approach when applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles, especially within front desk or guest services environments
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, night audit procedures, and guest relations best practices
- Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse guest populations effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining composure during busy periods
- Previous hotel experience is essential; familiarity with resort settings is a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and financial audits
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospitality environment
