Currently, we are specifically looking for someone to cover at a mental health facility in Greenville, Texas on Mondays 4:50pm-7:00pm .
SOBERFIT is an emerging Recovery Wellness Program redefining how fitness supports mental health and addiction recovery in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to reach, connect and inspire individuals who are in recovery from addiction and mental health through fitness fun motivation, proper nutrition, and life coaching.
What Makes SOBERFIT Different
We are NOT a traditional gym or bootcamp.
At SOBERFIT, we go beyond personal training. Our coaches serve as:
- Fitness professionals
- PE-style motivators
- Recovery allies
- Wellness educators
- Accountability partners
- Encouragers during some of the most vulnerable moments of a person’s life
We work inside:
- Mental health hospitals
- Addiction treatment centers
- Detox facilities
- Sober living homes
- Outpatient programs
Our clients are often newly sober, coming off drugs or alcohol, and may be physically deconditioned or emotionally fragile. We are not training athletes or competitors.
Our primary goal is movement, confidence, structure, and hope.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re building a trusted team of reliable, heart-led fitness professionals who understand the power of movement in recovery.
If you are just looking for a paycheck, then this is NOT the job for you. We are in the business of helping people, building relationships with them who are struggling with their mental health and addictions. Looking for people who are passionate about this and are ready to support the SOBERFIT mission.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Have a strong connection to mental health, addiction, or recovery (personal or professional)
- Are passionate about helping others live healthier, sober lives
- Can lead safe, encouraging, non-intimidating fitness sessions
- Understand that progress looks different in recovery
Requirements
- Certified fitness trainer (recognized certification required)
- Active liability insurance
- Reliable transportation (you will travel to facilities)
- Professional, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable working in clinical and recovery environments
