This position is meant for someone with experience working in either a veterinary setting or grooming reception, and looking for diversity in their position within a quickly growing company.

Required:
Your own vehicle for transportation
Prior computer skills and working with software systems/scheduling is a must
Dog leash and restraint experience
1-3 years of reception experience (please dont apply if you dont have this)
Knowledge of general vaccine requirements necessary for dogs
Friendly and great customer conflict resolution skills
Confidence with dogs
Preferred Prior Experience in:
Minimum of 1-3 years experience at a Veterinary clinic, Groomer or Pet Resort
Have knowledge of vaccine protocols
Experience with nail trimming/restraint
Pet Industry background
Job Requirements :
-Able to walk stand for 4-6 hours (we are always on the move with dogs arrivals this is not a desk job)
-Able to work around dogs of all sizes
-Communication with other co workers
-Multitasking
-Receive dogs at drop off and leashing up for departure at pick up
-Answer phone calls, emails and greet clients as they walk in
-Accurately explain our requirements and policies with clients
-Understand and review veterinary records
-Navigate and utilize software systems
-Check in/out boarding, daycare and grooming dogs with financial accuracy
-Schedule appointments
-Keeping lobby and reception area cleaned and organized
-Assist occasionally in restraining for nail trims for groomers
Compensation/Benefits:
Compensation is based on experience level and capabilities to fulfill the job requirements. Wages will be discussed in interview process. If willing to cross train wages can increase.

Shifts:
-Part time with room for full time as you gain experience.
-Morning, Afternoon and some weekend shifts are required.
Shifts can range from:
6:30am-2pm
9-2pm
11-6pm
2-7pm
