Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Delivery Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills and experience in route driving. The Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, collecting payments, managing logistics, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Review received merchandise for available delivery
- Management will assign additional duties as deemed necessary.
- Contact customers to schedule delivery
- Logistically route multiple delivery routes daily
- Schedule Transfers
- Communicate with delivery team drivers and staff
- Advise warehouse manager of issues on the routes
- Receive payments from customers via phone and process payments through credit card processing website.
- Coordinate customer pick-ups and assist them when they arrive
- Coordinate delivery of Commercial Projects
- Build Manifests and Pack Lists
- Close out Previous Day’s Deliveries
- Process Manifest Calls
- Process cancellations, reschedules, and add ons
- Process cash drawer report
- Work the CPU Report
- Work the Customer Will Call Report
- Work to clear out all past delivery dates.
- Respond to delivery related inquiries and concerns from customers.
- Provide outstanding services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Answers correspondence from internal and external customers as well as employees in a professional manner
- OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Management will assign additional duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules and records.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Employee must be even-tempered, be cooperative, and function harmoniously with all levels of supervision, fellow employees, clients, visitors, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Ability to function effectively as part of a “team” effort, and be willing to assist others if the needs of the business require such assistance.
- Be able to meet business attendance and tardiness standards, conform to lunch schedules, and attend all required business functions.
- Must comply with all rules of conduct and safely, follow directions, accept and respect authority, and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Must be able and willing to learn new methods and systems.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
Monday through Friday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.56 per hour

Experience:
- Routing protocols: 1 year (Preferred)
