GLANZ is quickly growing and is looking for a motivated, energetic and hard-working Medical Assistant to join our team!
As a Medical Assistant at GLANZ, you will be an integral part of our clinical team, assisting with both medical and aesthetic treatments while ensuring the highest standard of patient care. You will work closely with our physicians and aesthetic specialists to provide support during patient visits, assist with treatments, and contribute to the smooth operation of the office. Your role will require a balance of clinical duties, patient interaction, and ensuring our patients feel comfortable, informed, and well-cared for.In addition, you’ll be expected to provide concierge-level customer service, an upbeat and welcoming atmosphere in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, while maintaining professionalism and warmth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Support:
- Provide exceptional service to every patient, treating them with kindness, patience, and respect.
- Help ensure a smooth patient experience from arrival to departure.
- Assist patients in completing forms, explaining procedures, and providing information about treatments.
- Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, and documenting patient information.
- Assist with patient education by explaining procedures, treatments, and aftercare instructions.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and informed before, during, and after their visit. Obtain consents and deliver documents to the patients.
- Support patients in managing their treatment plans, helping them feel confident in their care.
- Clinical Duties:
- Assist physicians with endocrine, wellness, and aesthetic treatments as required.
- Perform basic medical tasks such as blood draws and injections.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment.
- Sterilize and sanitize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and document accurate patient histories, including allergies and current medications.
- Assist with minor procedures and treatments, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Aesthetic & Wellness Support:
- Support aesthetic treatments and procedures, assisting both the practitioner and the patient.
- Maintain an understanding of the treatments offered in aesthetics and wellness, and provide patients with relevant information about procedures, products, and results.
- Ensure the office environment is clean, professional, and aesthetically pleasing for both medical and aesthetic purposes.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with patient scheduling, confirmations and follow-up calls to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Help with inventory management of medical supplies and aesthetic products.
- Ensure proper handling and processing of lab results, prescriptions, prior authorizations and medical documentation.
- Promote and educate patients on available treatments, services, and packages.
- Coordinate with the medical and aesthetic teams to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow.
Qualifications:
- **BILINGUAL Spanish and English IS A MUST**
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
- Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in internal medicine, endocrinology, aesthetics, or wellness (1-2 years).
- Strong clinical skills, including experience with taking vital signs, performing blood draws IS A MUST**, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to put patients at ease and build trust.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to medicine and aesthetics is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
- A compassionate and professional demeanor with a passion for patient care and well-being.
- College Degree
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Live near Doral, Fl or the Miami, Fl area
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Start as Part Time to be promoted to full time based on performance
- Fixed hours
- Weekends off
