McDaniel Supply Company is seeking a motivated and dependable Distribution Associate to support our commissary operations within the Greenville County Detention Center. As a Distribution Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient operations in our warehouse and commissary. From receiving shipments to picking, packing, and delivering orders, your accuracy and professionalism will be essential.

Pull orders according to receipts, verify item accuracy and quantities, bag and seal items, and place them in designated carts for delivery.

Dispense orders to inmates throughout the detention facility, including:
- Confirm inmate identity using facility identification.
- Deliver orders promptly and professionally.
- Document discrepancies or damages.
- Obtain inmate signatures and provide receipts.
- Return copies for commissary records and properly dispose of delivery-related waste.
- Assist with inventory restocking for next day’s operations.

Unload pallets and totes from transfer trucks and organize inventory.

Collaborate with team members to maintain quality, timeliness, and presentation standards.

Promote a customer-first approach and contribute to overall service excellence.

Attend training sessions provided by McDaniel Supply Company and any facility-required classes.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Qualifications

Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

High school diploma or GED required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential job functions.

Regular, punctual attendance required.

Monday–Thursday: 7.5-hour shifts
-
Friday: 4.5-hour shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 – $17.00 per hour
