Job Summary
HQS Builders is hiring experienced construction workers for drywall, framing, and finishing work. We’re looking for skilled tradesmen who can hit the ground running on active commercial and residential projects. You must have your own tools — this is a firm requirement. This is hands-on work with a crew that takes pride in doing it right the first time.
Duties
- Hang, tape, and finish drywall to a Level 4–5 finish
- Frame walls, ceilings, and soffits (wood and metal stud)
- Perform finish carpentry and punch-out work
- Read and work from construction plans and field directions
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all site safety rules
- Work as part of a crew and take direction from the superintendent/foreman
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall, framing, and finishing (please be ready to demonstrate skill level)
- Must have your own hand tools and basic power tools — non-negotiable
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and be on your feet all day
- Show up on time, every day, ready to work
Preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- OSHA 10 a plus
- Experience on commercial/industrial sites a plus
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
