Overview
HiRel Connectors Inc. (HIRELCO) is an industry leader whose expertise is in designing and manufacturing custom and MIL-Spec interconnect products for a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense. We are in need of a Program Manager to support the operational and data management needs of the Programs Office.
The Program Manager is accountable for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of assigned programs and projects. This role owns all aspects of project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder outcomes. The Program Manager provides direction, prioritization, and oversight to Program Coordinators, ensuring effective execution and alignment, while remaining ultimately accountable for overall account performance and delivery success.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure
- Define and maintain project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Develop, manage, and obtain approval for project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Lead project governance, including status reporting, stakeholder communications, and executive updates
- Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities; implement data-driven solutions to optimize program performance
- Review and approve changes to scope, schedule, and budget in accordance with governance frameworks
- Provide day-to-day direction, prioritization, and oversight to Program Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate execution of assigned activities
- Drive continuous improvement by incorporating performance data, stakeholder feedback, and lessons learned into program execution
- Communicate program status, milestones, risks, and performance insights through regular reporting and presentations
- Maintain overall accountability for account performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivery standards
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in project management or a related delivery role
- Demonstrated success managing projects across the full lifecycle
- Proven experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, and risk
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating resources
- Experience providing direction, oversight, or guidance to support roles (e.g., Program Coordinators, Analysts)
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
