Job Description
We are a growing commercial property services business based in Itasca, IL. We are hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Lead Commercial Route Technician to oversee and service our local commercial accounts.
This position offers a 25-hour weekly guaranteed pay floor, a company-provided work van, and 100% employer-paid health insurance. All shifts begin and end at our Itasca office, and all travel time between client locations is fully paid.
As our company expands, you will have first priority to take on new client accounts to scale your route into a full 35–40 hour workweek.

- Paid Travel Time: Drive time between customer sites is fully paid at your $20/hr rate.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning, facility maintenance, and route services at assigned client sites (offices, medical clinics, and retail locations).
- Drive the company vehicle safely on scheduled routes throughout suburban DuPage and Cook counties.
- Maintain site quality control standards, follow customer checklists, and ensure complete account satisfaction.
- Keep the company van organized, clean, and stocked with necessary cleaning supplies and tools at our Itasca office.
- Assist with site audits and onboarding new client locations as our service footprint expands.
Schedule & Work Setting
- Work Setting: In-Person / On the Road. All shifts start and end at our Itasca office to pick up the van and supplies.
- Schedule Structure: Operates on a 2-week alternating schedule (averaging ~28–33 actual route hours/week):
- Monday – Thursday: Combination of morning and evening route shifts.
- Friday: OFF
- Saturday: Daytime route shift (Alternating weekend coverage).
- Sunday: OFF
- Growth Expectation: Must be open and available to take on additional accounts up to 40 hours/week as new business is acquired.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Driver's License: Valid Illinois Driver’s License with a clean, safe driving record (required to drive company van).
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, route driving, facility maintenance, or janitorial services preferred.
- Reliability & Autonomy: Outstanding punctuality, strong work ethic, and ability to manage route tasks independently.
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to take on new client accounts and expand hours as the business grows.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, stand, and perform active commercial cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
