This position administers, plans, coordinates, implements, monitors, and provides technical assistance for the Intellectual Disabilities/Autism program under the direction of the DS Program Director, BH/DS Deputy Administrator, and BH/DS Administrator. As a County ID Program Specialist 1, you will perform the following duties:

Program Coordination: Manage participant directed services and ensure all documentation follows required guidelines

Employment Support: Lead employment initiatives, guide stakeholders, and assist youth transitioning from school to work

Quality Oversight: Conduct reviews, monitor data, and support quality management activities across assigned programs

Eligibility Processing: Review Medicaid Waiver eligibility, submit required documents, and coordinate changes with the County Assistance Office
-
Incident Review: Evaluate incident reports within required timeframes, complete investigations, and provide technical assistance to providers

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships with SCOs, providers, and community agencies to support program goals
Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Occasional need to work or attend meetings after hours or on weekends. Compensation provided.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Employee will be eligible for up to 2 days of telework per week after successful completion of a 6 month probationary period and director approval. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Greensburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or
-
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
