We are looking for someone to fill a critical leadership role as the part-time Regional Coach for our STEM classes in South Denver. This job requires an open schedule on all weekday afternoons.
This person will set the pace and have a position of privilege, responsibility and accountability in supporting the faculty of their region. The main responsibilities are:
Management of Faculty and classes in the school
- Help with hiring new Faculty Members
- Training Faculty to lead classes
- Visit new schools we could grow into
- Ensuring quality of delivery in each class
Coverage for vacation and emergencies
- Cover classes during Faculty vacation and emergencies.
- Effective management of classroom with up to 24 children age between 5 yrs to 10 yrs old.
- Engage students in fun and relevant lessons based on established curriculum and specific classroom needs
Manage enrollments at all schools
- Relationship management with existing schools: quarterly visits/emails
- Evaluate classroom management from all Faculty
- Help in recruiting children and staffing any events to boost our presence
- Payroll reporting for the Faculty members in your area
- Regular class visits to observe and support Faculty
Additional Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience is highly preferred: must know how to manage a class of up to 24 elementary school age children
- Comfort with computers, computer languages, logical thinking, and problem solving
- Strong character and work ethic
- Ownership, commitment and availability
- Can do attitude
- Clear background check is mandatory in Colorado
This is a hybrid position. While some of this position can be handled remotely, much of it is in person.
Expected hours: 10-15 per week; must have availability during the school year and all weekday afternoons from 2PM-5PM
$1500+ with upside to increase
- $75-$100 for each coaching visit
- Commission based on # of Faculty/schools/children that you oversee
