We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team! Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers up to 1 Million Btu, VAV's and VRV's up to 50 ton.
- Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters, phase monitor, combustion analyzer, diagnostic computers and other trade specific tools to diagnose and repair systems.
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems involving VAV's, VFD's and VRV's or other specialty equipment; ensure proper operation of all components.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and parts used; communicate findings clearly with clients.
- Support property maintenance tasks as needed including system repair, system upgrades, scheduled replacements or modifications to improve efficiency and lifespan.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R. At least Journeyman license REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles (including R22, R134A, R454B, R404a and R410A refrigerate), plumbing systems, and electrical schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, brazing, boiler operation, and general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read technical schematics and HVAC design documents accurately; familiarity with field service procedures is essential.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to refrigerants (including mildly flammable refrigerants), brazing practices, and electrical work. Join us in delivering top-tier commercial HVAC/R solutions!
