Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using heavy lifting techniques and proper moving tools such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Operate various commercial vehicles including box trucks and <PERSON> drivers to transport items efficiently across routes.
- Assist customers with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings to ensure a smooth moving process.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety standards.
- Plan and execute route driving with attention to timing, traffic conditions, and delivery priorities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of all moving equipment and vehicles; perform routine inspections on forklifts and trucks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules, address concerns, and confirm delivery details.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or moving roles with a focus on delivering excellent client satisfaction.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or Personal driver certification preferred.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving, load & unload procedures, and courier tasks preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while maintaining safety protocols; physical stamina is essential.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; familiarity with <PERSON> driver standards preferred.

Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour
