General Job Description:
The EPM Maintenance 1 Technician supports Excel Development Co., Inc.’s mission in housing individuals and families by upkeeping EPM properties in order to provide and maintain quality housing to EPM tenants. The Maintenance 1 Tech is responsible for groundskeeping services and minor general maintenance to the common areas of EPM-owned properties.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide general cleaning to building common areas
· Remove trash from buildings and set out for weekly pick-up
· Maintain clean and safe basement areas
· Purchase supplies needed from supplier determined by Property Manager
· Maintain empathy for- and understanding of SPMI population
· Adhere to safety protocol as established by Property Manager
· Communicate with Property Manager and Property Manager Assistant as required
· Work flexibly within a team in order to accomplish larger EPM goals
· Operate with professionalism and respect for tenants and neighbors
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Skills and knowledge of general building upkeep
- Reliability and dependability
- Ability to assess situations for safety concerns
- Capacity to make decisions within the scope of the position
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
