Duties & Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Improvement Leadership: Work with Revenue Cycle leadership to identify and lead performance improvement projects to address systemic issues, such as high denial rates or charge lag, using data-driven methodologies.
Project Charters: Create detailed charters for each project, defining the problem statement, scope boundaries, milestones, and success metrics.
Project Oversight: Perform root cause analysis, and develop process improvement plans with key stakeholders.
Project Monitoring: Implement tools to monitor real-time performance of milestones, metrics, and eventual outcomes.
Change Management: Act as the lead "change agent" for RCS, translating technical or strategic shifts into actionable plans for staff and leadership
Administrative Oversight: Develop comprehensive user-friendly guides and checklists to ensure compliance with system-wide administrative workflows. Oversee clerical staff member.
Internal Resource Hub: Manage the development of content for and maintenance of the RCS/RCI Homepage/SharePoint site that houses critical policy documents, training information, and best practice guidance, ensuring positive end-user experience.
Communications: Develop and maintain organizational communications such as newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events, resources and current news.
RCI Analytics: Build and execute upon tracking mechanisms and metrics for learning analytics, course evaluations and assessments in order to analyze, evaluate and measure results.
Budget: Oversee RCS OTPS budget, creating automated tools and reports to ensure accurate budget management.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences or a related discipline; and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in projects and programs management, execution, and implementation, two (2) years of which must have been in the administration, management and/or execution of projects and programs of various complexities, including work in health care program planning, research, design or a related area; or

2. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the disciplines as listed in 1 above or a related discipline; and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as described in 1 above, three (3) of which must have been in the administration, management and/or execution of projects and programs of various complexities, including work in health care program planning, research, design or a related area; or

3. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline listed in 1 above or in a related discipline; and possession of a valid, professional certification listed below; and four (4) years of experience as described in 1 above, two (2) years of which must have been in the administration, management and/or execution of projects and programs of various complexities, including work in health care program planning, research, design or a related area.
a. Project Management Professional (PMP).
b. Program Management Professional (PgMP).
c. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
d. Lean Six Sigma (LSS), green belt or above.
e. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
f. SAFe Agilist (SA).
